Lawrence County Guardianship Services Program works with the local Court System and a network of trained Volunteers in an effort to protect the rights of adults to make their own decisions in life.

The purpose of LCGSP is to protect adults who have a diminished mental ability to make sound cognitive decisions, and LCGSP becomes involved ONLY when an adult’s ability to make sound decisions has been compromised.
