Indiana High School/High Tech ProgramHome About Us Programs Counties Served Resources Events Contact

Low-Vision AdvocateIn addition to academic mentoring and advocacy activities, we partner with business communities to encourage companies to provide supportive events for HS/HT students.  We want to improve students’ participation in employment-related activities.

The High School/High Tech program does not charge for services and strives to offer many opportunities for students.  Activities may include: monthly support meetings (with other students and family members); business tours, job shadowing, and internships; counseling as students make school and career plans; trips to institutions of higher education; and advocacy on behalf of students to ensure their rights and needs are addressed.

The ultimate goal of Indiana High School/High Tech is to ensure that youth with disabilities can maximize their opportunities to become productive, self-sufficient members of the twenty-first century workforce.

For more information about this program, contact the Program Director, Deanna Gardner, at 812-277-9626 or email deanna@sicilindiana.org.
