Ombudsman
Although it is a separate program, Debbie Wessel, the Ombudsman for area 15, works from the Bedford SICIL office. The Area 15 Ombudsman serves those in the following counties: Crawford, Lawrence, Orange and Washington counties
The Long-Term Care Ombudsman fulfills a wide variety of needs, including, but not limited to: answering questions and providing information about Long-Term Care and related services, promoting community education and awareness of the needs of residents, identifying residents’ issues and problems and investigating complaints affecting residents.
